Web 3D Optimizer by Double Edged
Lose the weight.
Keep the detail.
A lighter mesh.
The surface detail, baked in.
We’re building an AI-powered app that bakes high-resolution surface detail into texture and normal maps on a lighter mesh. Bring the models you already have. Prepare them for the web.
In development. Help shape the workflow.
Existing assets. A new starting point.
AI-assisted baking / Web 3DAI-assisted texture & detail baking
A lighter mesh.
A richer surface.
Reducing geometry can strip away surface detail. We’re developing AI-assisted baking to carry that detail from your high-resolution model into texture and normal maps for a lighter asset.
- 01
The starting point
Bring your model.
Start with your existing high-resolution model and the surface detail you want to preserve in a web experience.
- 02
The detail
Bake it into the surface.
Our planned AI-assisted baking workflow transfers high-resolution surface detail into texture and normal maps on a lighter mesh.
- 03
The next chapter
Prepare for the browser.
Bring a lighter asset and its baked surface detail into your product viewer, configurator or another web 3D experience.
Surface detail, not extra geometry. Texture and normal maps carry surface detail. The mesh still defines the silhouette.
The visuals express the idea. They aren’t screenshots or measured results from the app.
